The Trigger Effect

The Trigger Effect

We all go through challenges that can consume us. We fault ourselves on how we handle those adverse moments. We do this just to keep in line with our habit of self- deprivation. This is a practice we have become so accustomed to. We do not always realize that we’re affecting ourselves in such a negative way. When we are in the emotional trigger, all we can feel is the pain point. We do not see the future, only the past. We hold onto the uncomfortable expression of fear for a moment, maybe more. The feeling begins to fuel other sensations of doubt within ourselves and we feel helpless.
Emotional Triggers from any adversity is a process in which we need to face, so that we can learn how to heal. I have my own emotional triggers from the years of Emotional Abuse and Parental Alienation that I still have to face. You may not see those triggers because the face you see is the one of service to you. The thing is, being of service to others is one of the most benefical healing processes for the trigger. Acting from kindness and support of others brings about a broader perspective and pulls myself out from within the Victim State of Consciousness. As a Spiritual Being having this crazy Human Experience I can safely tell you that it is damn hard! There is no way to sugar coat my adversity. You cannot overlook it with self help books when you are truly in the Emotional Narrative within your head space. When you are in the thick of the Trigger Effect you simply have to brace yourself and feel your way through it. This is no easy task and I offer my Empathy to anyone else who has experienced such. My process of healing self has been a long road but a most powerful one and one that I would not change.

My Empowerment
As I have come through so many doors of discovery I have found that the greatest weapon to fight these demons is that of FORGIVENESS. This is an action required everyday to sooth those triggers. In order for you to heal, you must forgive. There is no inbetween. I encourage all of you that may be struggling through Abuse or any other kind of adverse experience from the past to find the place of letting go. It will not be easy but you will find your deserved state of peace, if in fact you do the work. This is the only way to pull yourself out of the state of victim mindset and into the mind of Empowerment. I stand with you in your power and I urge you to practice the selfless act of Forgiveness. Let go of the reasons why you shouldn’t and look forward for all the reasons why you should. You are more important than the negative mindset your Triggers allow.
Step closer into your soul now and try to find that space. Life is amazing from this view point. Life is beautiful. I am with you.
